Being foodie 🀭

Dhokla is a veggie lover culinary dish that is discovered mostly in the Indian territory of Gujarat and parts of adjoining states. It is made with an aged hitter got from rice and part chickpeas. Dhokla can be had for breakfast, as a primary course, as a side dish, or as a bite.

Honestly I love dhokla alot. So most of the time I ended up ordering this for snacks. Actually I love soft, smoothing dhokla but in Santiniketan I rarely get thatπŸ˜‘πŸ˜‘ (I only get it when my Gujarati roomie go back to her home for vacation 🀭🀭). So now, as I am still here in Prayagraj (Allahabad) I don't want to regret for not having these after I return to Santiniketan. πŸ˜…πŸ˜…

Place: Bikaner (my current favourite for dhokla 🀭)

Price: 32/- per plate (3 pieces will be there)

P.S: it was a date with one of my super woman of my life ❤️πŸ’•

A story of two frogs gives a ground-breaking exercise of being Deaf to Negative Thoughts.

Next time you hear someone condemning or ridiculing you, recollect it's most likely only a few of uproarious frogs.

As a gathering of frogs were going through the forested areas, two of them fell into a profound pit. At the point when different frogs swarmed around the pit and perceived how profound it was, they told the two frogs that they're was no expectation left for them.

Notwithstanding, the two frogs chose to overlook what the others were stating and they continued to attempt to leap out of the pit. In spite of their endeavors, the gathering of frogs at the highest point of he pit were all the while saying that they should simply surrender. That they could never make it out.

In the end, one of the frogs noticed to what the others were stating and he quit any pretense of, tumbling down to his demise. The other frog kept on hopping as hard as could reasonably be expected. Once more, the horde of frogs shouted at him to stop the torment and simply bite the dust.

He hopped significantly harder lastly made it out. When he got out, different frogs stated, "Did you not hear us?"

The frog disclosed to them that he was hard of hearing.

What is dance?

What is dance? Can you define it? Will you be able to say when you danced the dance of you and when you were a part of the Universe’s dance? I ask.

“Life is a dance. Dance ‘is’, it always is.

Why ask the questions all the time , when you can simply be the dance in the moment.  For the  dance goes on within us and without us, whether we are aware of it or not is our journey.” Says the Guru.

Dancing in the space of my Guru, is a blessing beyond words.

As I close my eyes and go back to this moment, it all comes flooding... This body of mine begins to respond to what it still carries from the vibrations of the master. The mind finds the still. The movement goes beyond the limbs. The heart creates its rhythm. The eyes brim with tears of gratitude. And the awareness of it all, starts to create the dance.

My current favorite

Shawarma is a dish in Center Eastern cooking comprising of meat cut into slight cuts, stacked in a cone-like shape, and broiled on a gradually turning vertical rotisserie or spit.
Initially made of sheep or lamb, the present shawarma may likewise be chicken, turkey, meat, or veal. Thin cuts are shaved off the cooked surface as it persistently turns.
Shawarma is one of the world's most mainstream road nourishments, particularly in Egypt, the nations of the Levant and the Middle Eastern Promontory, and past.

Being a foodie I always try to have something new and tasty πŸ˜‹
Today on the occasion of bhai dooj (bhai fota in Bengali) me and my brother tried this amazing chicken Shawarma..

Place: Night market (near BHS)
Price: 60/-

My Mom once told me that she walked into a room where a couple of friends were discussing her, they didn’t know she was there. She shook her head, smiled and walked away.

My Mom also told me that she had a friend who talked bad about her, she never knew that Mom found out, Mom never mentioned it. She smiled and walked away from this friendship.

She told me she had family who chose to shift her out of their life because she stood up for herself for a change. And because she stopped crossing oceans for them when they would not even help her cross a bridge. She smiled, shook her head and walked away.

So I asked her how she could just walk away from people that betrayed her while pretending to be her friends or family.

She answered that every time she came to a crossroad like that, she had to decide who will be going forward on her journey with her. This showed her who she cannot take along with her.

So she explained to me that you should never get mad at a person who betrays you, even in the name of friendship or family. Just gracefully bow out and enjoy your journey with all the new people you’ll meet along the way.

*Be rich & happy from within*

With the car parked on the road, I got on to the bus. But seeing the crowd inside, I  was scared. There was no place to sit. At that moment, a seat became vacant. The next person could have easily occupied it. Instead he offered me that seat.

Next stop. Same thing happened. Again he gave his seat to another person.  I was observing him... this happened for four times in our entire bus journey. The man looked tired, he must have been going home after his job. In last stop, we all got off. Out of curiosity I spoke to him.

Asked why you were giving your seat to another every time ??  The interesting answer he gave was

I haven’t studied at all or have much money. I have nothing to give, neither knowledge, nor money. This is the only thing which I can do for others, easily. So I do this everyday.

Though working for all the day, ‌ I can still stand for a little longer. When I gave you the seat, you said thank you. I felt very happy. I believe I'm contributing to the best of my abilities. Doing something for someone, is the great source of satisfaction for me.  So I do this everyday and go home refreshed & happily.

I was shocked to hear the answer. His thought and understanding. Why say uneducated? Wanting to do something for someone completely unknown & on a daily basis is the ultimate learning. He taught me a lesson today. I started to examine myself by bowing down in front of him. *How easy it is to be rich from within ?* God must have taught this angel this splendid lesson..

Moral :

Beautiful clothes, tons of bank balance, best of Cars, best of mobiles or accessories & luxuries, may or may not make you rich and happy; but a simple art of giving is enough to make you feel rich & happy everyday.

A blend of hope ❤️ Vitamin H ❤️

An exceptionally lengthy timespan, I went over such a book which I polished off at a time, generally, I take as much time as is needed with books and gradually attempt to the insight they give, however with this book it was extraordinary. Vitamin H is straight for This book inspirational statements and messages, masterminded so that you can peruse one every day and keep yourself persuaded all through. The book comprises 111 persuasive messages expected to raise the lives of people who are in critical need of inspiration and motivation by boosting internal certainty and fortifying their confidence.

Vitamin H ended up being an interesting book for me, I began perusing it when I got it, and given its short substance, I finished it in an hour. Yet, while speeding through the pages I ran over certain statements that stayed with me till the end and were relatable to that I continued pondering them the entire day. Some basic statements gave me another point of view on life and made me consider all the things I have been doing recently. Not at all like other self-improvement guides that coddle you with thoughts and good faith, Vitamin H encourages you in finding your particular manner, the rousing contemplations gathered in the book can illuminate your mind and get it on the correct way.

This is a significant fascinating book with a progression of persuasive and moving statements alongside some Life Facts and Tips. The words referenced in the Book are truly rousing. A blend of Hope, Happiness, and Healthy Living tips, statements, and realities are bonded into a Single Collection which can be unequaled Treasure at your hands.

The Language and Narration of the Book are composed quite well. So anybody can without much of a stretch peruse and be accused up of the moving words.

Strongly prescribed to each and everybody.

I would like to give 4/5 on this book..

This existence is a creator.
A singer, dancer, painter, poet, magician, healer.
A guide, teacher, friend, companion.
A giver, an energy, a formless form.

It brings to life each of it’s seed with utmost patience, care and love.
In her playfulness nature, makes us all unique, rich with color and emotion.
In her wisdom, she makes us imperfect , so that we can keep growing.
In her experience, she makes us all capable of transformation , each day.

This life is an expression of existence.
What we witness, becomes our fragrance, our rhythm, our breath.
And what slowly begins to echo, is the conscious vibration of all that goes deep within.
It makes us , who we are.

*_A WEDDING GIFT:_*

She married him today. At the end of the wedding party, her mother gave her a newly opened bank savings passbook, with Rs.10000 deposited in it.

She told her, "My dear daughter, take this passbook. Keep it as a record of your married life. Whenever something
happy and memorable happens in your new life, put some money in. Write down what it's about next to the
amount. The more memorable the event is, the more money you can put in. I've done the first one for you today. Do the others with your husband. When you look back after many years, you will know how much happiness you've both shared.'

She shared this with him after getting home. Both of them thought it was a great idea and couldn't wait to make the next deposit!
This is what the passbook looked like after a while: -
7Feb: Rs. 1000, his first birthday celebration after marriage
1 Mar: Rs. 3000, she gets a salary raise
20 Mar: Rs. 2000, vacation
15 Apr: Rs. 2000, She's pregnant!
1 Jun: Rs. 10000, He gets a big promotion, and so on...

However, as the years went by, they began fighting and arguing over trivial things. They didn't talk much.

They regretted that they had married the nastiest person in the world. There was no more love.

One day she talked to her Mother. 'Mom, we can't stand it anymore. We have decided to divorce. I can't imagine how I decided to marry this guy!'

Her mother replied, 'Sure, that's no big deal. Just do whatever you want, if you really can't stand it.

But before that, do one thing remember the savings passbook I gave you on your wedding day? Take out all money and spend it first. You shouldn't keep any record of such a poor marriage.'

She agreed with her mother. So she went to the bank and was waiting in the queue to cancel the account.

While she was waiting, she took a look at the passbook record. She looked, and looked, and looked. Then the memory of all the previous joyful moments came back to her. Her eyes were filled with tears.

She left and went home. When she got home, she handed the passbook to her hubby and asked him to spend the money before getting divorced.

So the next day, he went to the bank and was waiting in the queue to cancel the account. While he was waiting, he took a look at the passbook record. He looked, and looked, and looked. Then the memory of all the previous joyful moments came back to him. His eyes were filled with tears.

He left and went home. He gave the passbook back to her. She found a new deposit of Rs. 50000. And a line next to the record: 'This is the day I realized how much I've loved you throughout all these years. How much happiness you've brought me.' They hugged and cried, putting the passbook back into the safe.

Marriage is not a game, it's not easy but it's beautiful. You will fight and argue, this is normal because both of you came from different backgrounds, different homes, and you both were raised by different parents, beliefs, and morals. So you cannot expect that everything you say will be accepted by your spouse without their opinion being tendered first. So before you give up, think back to the good times and to what brought you together in the first place.

Dedicated to all married couples.
